Strikes, Staying Active, and Animal Therapy

Posted on June 28, 2026June 28, 2026 By Melissa

Mike had another great week getting out and about! He came to our place for a morning this week to check out the new trail I am working on that I am hoping will make the backwater (and eventually the river) accessible for Mike when he is in his electric wheelchair!

I totally forgot to take any pictures of the trail, or of Mike with the new puppies, or of him with the pigs….etc, but I did get one picture of him checking out the calves 😉

Mike and the Crew also went bowling this week, which was a fun activity on a bit of a rainy day. And we are always thankful when there are adaptations available for activities to make it possible for Mike to participate!

And as always, Mike and William kept working on his endurance and strength to make sure that he continues to be able to go on all the adventures and activities!

Thanks again for following along with what Mike is up to every week!
