Mike had a busy week, just the way he loves it, but somehow I know that this picture was the highlight of his week…his grandkids showing him their new baby chicks! One thing I know he misses a lot is being able play with his grandkids, so these moments are extra precious.

That was Monday. On Tuesday, we headed for a family outing to Indian Battle Park. It was such a beautiful day!! We took Mikes motorized wheelchair so he could have a little freedom and be able to get to the river easily.
Stephanie brought their grandkids, and Mike watched them play at the playground for a while, laughing at Kinley’s determination 😄

We enjoyed visiting for a while, and then headed down to the water, which is everyone’s happy place. We watched the kids throw rocks in the water, the train go over the High Level bridge, Conservation Officers patrolling the river by boat, and on the way down to the water, we saw a ring necked pheasant!

On Thursday, Mike told William he wanted to visit Oma Grisnich in Picture Butte, and asked if Dad wanted to go with as well. So off they went to Picture Butte, with a nice visit with Oma and Auntie Edith!

Then at some point during the week, Frans told Mike about a Seniors get together at Hilltop Greenhouses on Friday, and asked Mike if he wanted to go. Frans got the thumbs up, so that meant they were going! Which also meant that William was going….

Though it was technically Williams day off, he was a trooper and showed up after a night shift at one of his other jobs to assist Mike plant some flowers to take home, drink some coffee, eat lunch from a delicious menu (Evy’s Mobile)

As always, many thanks to William, Mr. Frans Feyter and the many others who help Mike experience many times of happiness, despite everything he can no longer do independently. It is truly a blessing ❤️.
Praise our good God for working out such awesome trip s for Mike!🙏🏽🌼. It was nice to see Mike and William! 🙏🏽😉
So encouraging to see Mike have so many who care for him and give him enjoyment of life, even in his condition. God is good, and may He continue to bless Mike! Thanks to all his helpers!
