As Mike moves from self managed care to a facility, the funding for self managed care will also stop. The self-managed care funding is what helps pay William for working with Mike.
Mike has really enjoyed having William work with him. He loves to spend as much time outside as possible, and William is more than happy to spend time outside as well! Together they go to the mountains, to the river in town, and out for walks no matter the weather….William has learned to make sure he has clothing and shoes for any weather or place they might end up at on a days journey!

With Mike moving to a facility, he will have 24 hour care for the necessities of life. But Mike hates to be indoors, and hates to not be busy. As family, we all try to take him out as much as possible, but can’t always be there daily through the week.
Our goal is to be able to continue to have William work with Mike at least 2 days a week, preferably 3, to take him out to do fun things. This comes with a financial costs that is not at all covered by public health care.
A separate bank account has been set up for anyone who would like to help out financially for William to continue working with Mike.
If this is something you would like to help out with, you can e-transfer mikegrisnich@gmail.com.
We will keep everyone updated through this website with what Mike and William are up to, as well as any other activities Mike gets out to do!
Thank you so much to everyone for their support. We are so grateful to all who continue to pray for Mike and Stephanie and their family, and for those who wish to contribute financially. It is never taken for granted.
